Working in walnut, cedar, apple, pine, tupelo, and
a Malaysian wood called jelutong, Lovato carves
individual or group figures, then adds paint and, in
some cases, paper cut-outs for decoration.
Individual carvings range in size from 1-3", and
groupings can measure up to about 9" long.
Some of his groupings are also available as
bronze castings.
